It’s Monday, I hate Monday. The only good thing to come out of this day is the joy of coming back from a fantastically lazy weekend of nothingness, turning on the computer and looking at previews of epic things to come and by the power of the internets there are some awesome things either out there or on the way.
The first find of the day was Image comics new title “Hellcity (The Whole Damn Thing)” and the very idea makes my pupils widen, my mouth water and makes my pants grow tight with excitement!
A crime noir/horror/dark comedy set in the capital city of Hell! Yeah, go feck yourself Vegas, welcome to the real city of sin!
We jump headfirst into the death of Detective Bill Tankersly who hasn’t really been a very good boy as he is sent to Hellcity and gets involved in a scandal that could screw up Satans seat of power and cause a race hate war between humans and demons.
The very IDEA of a law enforcement in Hell is enough to make me laugh, not to mention people doing everyday normal things with the slight difference of having demons for bosses and co-workers. The comic has the same look and feel as the early Battle Pope series and it looks like a fecking delicious read! Forgive me Father for I have sinned big time!
The next title I found just blew me away. I look at and think “I wonder what shit these dudes were on and where could I grab a sample?”
Jason Howard clearly doesn’t watch Animal Planet with their story Sea Bear & Grizzly Shark where the powers that be thought it would be hilarious to shake things up a little and make sure that we never think it’s safe to go back into the water OR take a shit in the woods.
It’s something completely different and again it comes from the might that is Image comics who are giving us diversity at every turn. The worst part about finding this comic? It’s coming out for it’s second printing? Where….THE FECK…was I for the first printing?
Grab this 48 page beauty before their all gone and no third printing is put into action……we are going to need a bigger boat….
Gritty but fun art from Joe Flood.

lol, grizzly shark looks soopa funny
I want to find this second printing as soon as possible. Makes my funny bones feel….funny.
