I’ve often been told (Like most of you.) that I should stop playing games, and go out because life is the ultimate game. I mention this because while part of that is correct, they just omit the model.
There have been many comparisons to how video games got inspired from, imitate and even emulate life at times, but I stand before you with the true answer. (No I am not pitching some sort of new cult-ish thing here.) Let’s examine some bad points of life.
- No Load/Save Points
- Long Loading Times
- Repetitive Gameplay
- Too Much DLC
- DLC Is Expensive
And now for the good:
- Choose Your Own Adventure
- Character Customization
- Level Editor
- Amazing Graphics
- Free To Play
Bingo, and there we have my point. Life is Free To Play just like some other title that I mentioned before.
Now I’m not going to get down into the greasy points of why it’s Free To Play. Like I said before, Free To Play is the business model Facebook games take. If you don’t think your life is like a Free To Play game, or if you would like to find out more about my insanity; leave a comment, and we’ll see where it goes.

There’s a fine line between insanity and genius, and I’m thinking you’re leaning towards the latter, although it might’ve been a stroke of luck that you stumbled on and wrote curious things about this topic, which makes you lean toward the former…
Although, I’m not here to comment on how you’re leaning, I’m here to comment on how brilliant this article actually is. It’s bloody brilliant.
Someone could use this as a business model and make big bucks, I’m sure of that. Nice one mate
I’d like to believe I lean completely towards the insanity side, but thanks for the comment. ^_^
