Corey Sevier (Immortals, North Shore.)
Well, well, well. Just when you thought American cinema couldn’t get anymore patriotic… or zombie filled, Hollywood surprises you. Last year, 2012, saw the release of Osombie – the undead, Osama bin Laden, film. Yes, you read that correctly, a bin Laden Zombie film. Who knew?
Made on a shoestring budget, and filled with forgettable faces, Osombie personifies B-movie culture.
Eve Mauro (Zombies VS Strippers, Dragon Lore: Curse of the Shadow.)
The film revolves around Dusty (Eve Mauro) a yoga instructor, who heads to Afghanistan to rescue her conspiracy-theorist brother Derek (Jasen Wade.)
Joined by a team of NATO soldiers… mostly Americans (So much for the grand Coalition.) Dusty finds her brother and a lot more than she bargained for. (Dramatic music, please.)
bin Laden has returned from the dead, and is assembling an army of zombie terrorists. (Who saw that coming?)
Of course it’s up to Dusty and co. to save the day.
William Rubio (Forever Strong, Scout Camp.)
The film -whether you loathe or love zombie romps- screams “cliche” at every turn. Everything we have come to expect… to love… and to hate from zombie films is here.
Walter A. Carmona (No Middle Ground, The Usual Stuff.) – He plays the zombie bin Laden.
