Why the 30th of October is so special…
Yes there were rugby games, and yes there was the preparation for Halloween, But what makes October the 30th special for 925|Rebellion is that it is the day our first ever posts were written!
Super Meat Boy – Review
“The game sees players taking on the role of a small animated cube of meat named Meat Boy who must save his girlfriend, Bandage Girl, from the evil Dr. Fetus.”…
The more bizarre the better I say. So when I started playing Super Meat Boy I knew I would love it…and, no surprise, I do! This game brings to the party cute gory characters, and mass appeal, and that’s half the battle won.
Office for Mac 2011 – Launch
Yet again we were invited to a Microsoft event, and yet again disaster struck! Nick (The writer I planned to send) had a major plumbing disaster, and although not really having the time (and not really being the biggest Mac fan), I had to take his place.
(I’m pretty sure these MS events are jinxed, I’m going to have to see if anything goes wrong next time to be sure)
Any way… The launch took place on the 14th of October, a cloudy and miserable Thursday (thankfully this time I wore jeans!) [...]
Xbox Live is FINALLY hitting South African shores!
If you missed Yvette from Microsoft’s talk about the launch of Live on 5fm yesterday, then here (courtesy of the Xbox site) is the FAQ about the launch :
The First Avenger
Oh ,y word….another post so soon?
Windows Live Essentials – Launch
We were invited to attend a Microsoft ‘press conference’ thing last week, and naturally we jumped at the chance! (mainly because we heard mumblings of Kinect being there, but also so we could pretend to be proper jornos!)
“I Hate Mon…Wait…What Day is This?” Review
First things first….The Chaos War has finally started and it’s said to be bigger than the Annihilation Wave and make War of Kings look like a nursery school spat.
The First Reach Update goes live.
Bungie has finally released it’s first post-release update for Reach; and by the looks of it, it’s aimed at balancing out the online aspect; hopefully getting rid of those annoying exploits, and making the whole multiplayer experience even more fun…
Win R10, 000 for destroying the vuvuzela… and go!
So, the World Cup came in like a tornado and left just as fast. No doubt you still have your vuvu’s and are probably using them as a beer funnel or toilet roll holder. WoZela poses the same question I’ve been asking…what are we going to do with them now?
Comics Online.
I will admit that when it comes to comics I’m a bit of a prude and prefer the traditional printed version myself. I loathed the idea of reading comics online mainly because it felt like someone was trying to steal the experience away from me (I suspect it’s Green Peace….filthy fecking hippies, get a real job)
The TEN things you should be watching on YouTube…
I would consider myself a pretty laid back kinda guy, but at the same time there is a lot of things that irritate me. Some things, like shitty drivers, I can’t fix but other things I can! That’s the reason for this round of ‘the TEN’, I want to fix something…
