Hit by the Rebels – Fallout New Vegas

When I say “post-apocalyptic future”, what image comes to mind? I bet it looks like a desert with a whole lot of sand and maybe the ruins of city structures. One or two people might even think of city regions taken back by vines and lush vegetation, but most will see the beach without a shore line stretching as far as the eye can see. Now let me ask you to picture Nevada and Las Vegas. If you’ve seen enough Hollywood depictions, you’ll know it’s little more than the perfect place to film a movie set in a post-apocalyptic future. So much so, that if there was an earth shattering event or nuclear fallout, I’m not sure if anything would […]

GRYPT

Another day, another amazing band. This week we sit down with Romie and Taylor from Grypt. Now you’ve only been around a few years. How did Grypt start? Taylor: Romie and I have known each other and made music together for most of the past decade and we’d often talked about how fun it would be to get together for a weekend and just try to make something explicitly dark. At some point we both had time, and we got together and wrote most of “Terrible Fish / Brown + Orange Streaks” over about 3 days without really thinking too much about what we were doing. When we listened to the songs afterwards, we both decided that it was a […]

Hit by the Rebels – Sir you are being hunted

Have you ever looked, I mean really looked, at the British? If you stare at your TV monitor long enough you might notice that according to the media they are pale, impolite, impatient beings that go about their days without emotions as if working a perfect schedule. Sir You Are Being Hunted is a 2014 survival stealth game that was developed by Big Robot and published digitally on Steam. It released on PC and can be played on Mac OS X and Linux as well. Hit by the Rebels – Lego Marvel Superheroes

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. The proof that this statement holds truth is in the toys we play with; as kids we loved Lego and we loved heroes, as adults we love the same stuff but instead prefer it in digital format because it is easier to clean up once done playing (laziness is proof of age after all). TT Games realised our obsession with plastic bricks and has strived to provide us with our fill of thereof. Lego Marvel Superheroes is a 2013 action-adventure videogame based on the Marvel universe with more or less 150 playable characters that is available on PC, PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita, Xbox One and 360 and Wii U. Hit by the Rebels – Death Track Resurrection

Remember that movie where the prison inmates had to race armoured and weaponised custom vehicles and win a “season” in order to earn their freedom, the one where they would choose ridiculously lame aliases like most gamers do when choosing a character name in an MMO after you’ve realised your usual names have been taken? Death Track: Resurrection is pretty much what happens when you turn Death Race into a semi-functional game, even if the Death Track series has been around longer. Death Track: Resurrection was developed by SkyFallen Entertainment and published by 1C Company in 2009 for PC and PlayStation Network. You enter the driving seat as character Antonio Salevani, who voluntarily participates in races that require him to […]
